Make your own way to the Kuata Island Day Cruises booth located inside on the right when entering the Port Denarau Cruise Terminal. Check-in by 8.15am at the latest. 

Embark on a remarkable journey with Awesome Adventures Fiji aboard a high-speed catamaran. Departing from Denarau Marina, you'll cruise through the stunning Mamanuca Islands and onward to the gateway of the Yasawa Islands—your destination for the day, the breathtaking Kuata Island. 

Arrival at Kuata Island 
A brief orientation will follow, introducing you to the island’s layout, available facilities, and the schedule of activities designed to make your day unforgettable. 

Snorkeling with Reef Sharks 
At either 11:00 AM or 2:00 PM, your adventure begins as you depart Kuata Island for Moira Reef, home to a resident population of graceful Black Tip and White Tip Reef Sharks. After a comprehensive safety briefing, you’ll enter their underwater world. These majestic creatures are non-aggressive and truly awe-inspiring, often likened to the "poodles" of the shark world. 

Guided by our expert team, this extraordinary experience will transform your perception of sharks. Our marine science experts are also on hand to share fascinating insights into their behaviour and habitat. After the snorkel, you’ll return to Kuata Island for a well-deserved lunch. 

Lunch and Afternoon Activities 
Savor a delicious buffet lunch served from 12:00 PM at our island bar and restaurant. Afterward, enjoy a variety of activities, or simply relax and soak in the idyllic surroundings. Options include: 

• Snorkeling off the beach 

• Kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding 

• Exploring walking trails 

• Lounging by one of five pools with a cocktail in hand 

For those seeking more adventure, additional paid activities are available, including reef dives, a village visit, a shell market, cave tours, or traditional weaving classes. 

Additional Information 
Purchases on the island, including drinks or additional activities, are billed to a personal account set up upon arrival. This can be settled before departure; please note a 3.5% credit card fee applies. 

Itinerary 

• 08:00: Check-in at the Kuata Island Day Cruises booth, Port Denarau Cruise Terminal 

• 08:45: Depart on Yasawa Flyer II (approx. 1.75 hours) 

• 10:30: Arrive at Kuata Island 

• 11:00 or 14:00: Guided Snorkeling with Sharks 

• 12:00–14:00: Buffet lunch at the bar/restaurant 

• After lunch: Optional activities & leisure time 

• 16:00: Depart Kuata Island 

• 17:45–18:00: Arrive back at Port Denarau

Cancellation Policy   

• No fees applicable should guest have to postpone or amend booking to another travel date up to 1 hour prior to departure.   

• Cancellation 48 – 25 hours prior to travel, cancellation fee 50% of booking value applies.  

• Cancellation 24 hours or less prior to travel or no-show, cancellation fee 100% of booking value applies.
